Melt Saturdays is spearhead by Simon Caldwell & Mark Walton, and local cats James Locksmith & Frenzie (Groove Therepy 2SER) playing Funk boogie and Street soul from all corners of the globe.
With over 35 years experience they are Australia’s finest. Simon is an architect of the infamous Mad Racket parties & unlike his sound at Racket, Simon digs into his roots of soul/jazz/funk influenced music, his trademark of the early 90’s. Mark Walton’s influence runs a thread through the fabric of Sydney’s breaks & funk club scene for 20 years. Add James Locksmith & Frenzie as renowned local DJs and you have the Funk Heavy Weights thumping a groove from the past, present and a little into the future…
